Key Responsibilities
- Operate cylindrical grinding machines for precision grinding activities
- Perform OD/ID grinding as per engineering drawings and process requirements
- Set up grinding machines, select grinding wheels, and perform wheel dressing
- Ensure dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and tolerance control
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, micrometers, Vernier calipers, and gauges
- Conduct in-process inspection during grinding operations
- Maintain proper coolant level and machine cleanliness
- Follow production targets and quality standards
- Identify machine abnormalities and report maintenance issues
- Ensure safe handling of components and tools
- Maintain production records and daily work reports
Technical Skills Required
- Knowledge of cylindrical grinding process
- Understanding of tolerances and surface finish requirements
- Ability to use measuring instruments
- Knowledge of grinding wheel selection and dressing
- Basic understanding of machine maintenance
- Knowledge of engineering drawings and GD&T; basics
Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
