Job Summary

The Mathematics Teacher is responsible for teaching CBSE Mathematics to students of Grades 10, 11, and 12, ensuring robust conceptual understanding, problem-solving skills, and excellent board examination preparation. The teacher will create engaging lesson plans, assess student progress, and support students in achieving academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities1. Teaching & Instruction
- Teach Mathematics according to the CBSE curriculum for Grades 10, 11, and 12.
- Prepare annual, monthly, and daily lesson plans.
- Explain mathematical concepts clearly using practical and analytical approaches.
- Conduct interactive classroom sessions to improve student engagement.
- Use technology, smart boards, and digital learning tools effectively.

2. Academic Planning
- Complete syllabus within prescribed timelines.
- Prepare worksheets, assignments, question papers, and study materials.




- Plan revision schedules and examination strategies for board classes.
- Conduct remedial and enrichment classes based on student performance.

3. Assessment & Evaluation
- Conduct periodic tests, unit tests, pre-board exams, and assessments.
- Evaluate answer scripts and provide constructive feedback.
- Analyze student performance and maintain academic records.
- Prepare students for CBSE board examinations and competitive exams where applicable.

4. Classroom Management
- Maintain discipline and a positive classroom environment.
- Encourage logical thinking, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Support students academically and emotionally when required.

5. Parent & School Communication
- Communicate student progress regularly with parents.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and academic review sessions.
- Collaborate with other faculty members and school leadership.
