Purchase Procurement and Material Control (PPMC)

Job Summary

The Executive - PPMC is responsible for planning, purchasing, procuring, and controlling raw materials, packaging materials, and consumables to ensure uninterrupted production and productive inventory management. The role involves vendor coordination, purchase order processing, material planning, and maintaining accurate procurement and stock records.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute purchase orders for raw materials, packaging materials, and consumables.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Obtain quotations and negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain optimum stock to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, QA, and Finance departments regarding material requirements.
- Track purchase orders and follow up on pending deliveries.
- Develop and evaluate vendors based on quality, price, and delivery performance.
- Maintain procurement records, supplier databases,



and related documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Prepare procurement reports and MIS as required by management.

Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, MBA,

Experience
- 2 to 5 years of experience in purchase, procurement, material planning, or inventory control, preferably in pharmaceutical, cosmetic, or manufacturing industries.

Required Skills:
- Knowledge of procurement and inventory management

- Strong analytical and planning abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
- Good communication and coordination skills
