As a Software Quality Engineer you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products through advanced testing strategies, automation, and continuous improvement. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including development, product management, and DevOps to define quality standards, identify risks, and implement robust testing frameworks. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test plans, developing automated test suites, and driving quality initiatives across the software development lifecycle. Your expertise will help shape scalable and maintainable quality practices and contribute to the evolution of our engineering culture. You’ll be expected to bring a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices, along with a proactive mindset to identify and resolve quality issues early in the development process.





‍ What you'll be responsible for?

Designing and executing manual test cases to validate functional and non-functional requirements across web and backend systems.

Performing API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar to ensure robust and secure service integrations.

Conducting FTP-based validations, including file transfers, format checks, and data integrity across environments.

Leading regression testing efforts to ensure recent code changes do not adversely affect existing functionality.

Developing and maintaining automated test scripts to improve test coverage and reduce manual effort.

Performing database testing to validate data consistency, integrity, and correctness using SQL queries and stored procedures.

Collaborating with developers and product managers to understand requirements and define test strategies.
