Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Hydraulic Pump Servicing

Diagnose hydraulic pump failures and identify root causes.

Perform dismantling, inspection, servicing, and assembly of hydraulic pumps and motors.

Repair axial piston pumps, vane pumps, gear pumps, and hydraulic motors.

Carry out replacement of seals, bearings, rotating groups, shafts, and other spare parts.

Ensure proper cleaning and contamination control during servicing.

Testing & Troubleshooting

Conduct hydraulic pump testing on test benches.

Check and record:
Pressure

Flow

Case drain

Temperature

Noise and vibration

Troubleshoot issues such as:
Low pressure

Flow fluctuation

Overheating

Internal leakage

Noise and cavitation

Analyze test reports and prepare service recommendations.





Technical Support

Provide technical support to customers and service teams.

Attend breakdown calls and field service activities.

Guide technicians during assembly and troubleshooting.

Coordinate with customers regarding repair status and technical issues.

Documentation & Quality

Prepare:
Service reports

Inspection reports

Test reports

Failure analysis reports

Follow ISO quality procedures and safety standards.

Maintain calibration and testing records.

Ensure proper use of measuring instruments and tools.

Workshop & Maintenance Activities

Maintain workshop discipline and 5S standards.

Ensure proper handling of hydraulic components and tools.

Monitor spare parts and consumables.

Support preventive maintenance activities.

Required Skills:
Technical Skills

Knowledge of hydraulic systems and circuits

Hydraulic pump overhaul and testing

Reading hydraulic schematics and drawings
