The Patient Relationship Executive serves as the primary liaison between the healthcare facility and its patients. This role is designed to ensure a seamless, empathetic, and high-quality experience from the moment a patient enters the facility until they are discharged.
Core Responsibilities
- Patient Advocacy & Support: Act as the dedicated point of contact for patients and their families, addressing grievances, explaining hospital policies, and ensuring all non-clinical needs are met.
- Concierge Services: Facilitate smooth admission and discharge processes, coordinate room allocations, and manage specialized requests for premium or VIP patients.
- Communication Bridge: Liaise between clinical staff (doctors/nurses) and patients to ensure explicit communication regarding wait times, procedure schedules, and billing inquiries.
- Feedback Management: Proactively collect patient feedback through rounds and surveys; analyze data to suggest service improvements to management.
- Conflict Resolution:
Calmly and professionally handle stressful situations, such as long wait times or billing disputes, to maintain a positive institutional image.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all patient-facing areas meet the facility’s standards for cleanliness, comfort, and accessibility.
