The Quality Engineer with fabrication experience will ensure the project quality requirements vis-à-vis all fabricated products meet the required quality standards from raw material intake through the production process to the final inspection, and also monitor and improve the quality of operational processes and outputs. This role involves working closely with production, engineering, and procurement teams to develop and implement quality control plans for fabrication processes, as well as managing non-conformance issues.

The quality engineer's responsibilities include designing quality standards, inspecting materials, equipment, processes, and products, developing quality control systems, and determining corrective actions. You will also work with managers and supervisors to implement quality measures.

A successful quality engineer should have excellent troubleshooting skills and be able to ensure that processes and products consistently meet established quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Quality Assurance & Control:
a)



Develop and implement quality control plans across the departments.

b) Perform in-process inspections and final quality checks to ensure that products meet the company's quality standards.

c) Inspect raw materials to ensure quality compliance before production.

d) Conduct various dimensional checks, weld & painting inspections.

e) Identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.

2. Process Improvement:
a) Work with cross-functional teams to improve fabrication processes and reduce waste or defects.

b) Analyse production data and quality reports to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement.

c) Support the development of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives within the fabrication department.

3. Supplier Quality Management:
a) Collaborate with suppliers to ensure incoming materials meet company specifications.
