US Non-IT Business Development Manager (BDM)

A Business Development Manager (BDM) for US Non-IT staffing is primarily responsible for acquiring new clients and building professional relationships with companies in the United States that require personnel in sectors like Healthcare, Finance, Engineering, Logistics, Manufacturing, and Administration.

Unlike IT recruitment, this role focuses on a broader spectrum of industries, requiring a versatile approach to market trends and client needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with Hiring Managers, HR Directors, and Procurement teams.
- Market Research: Analyze industry trends in the Non-IT sector to identify "hot" industries (e.g., Supply Chain or Healthcare) and target high-growth regions.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate commercial terms, including bill rates, pay rates, and placement fees, ensuring profitable margins for the agency.
- VMS/MSP Navigation: Work with Vendor Management Systems (VMS) and Managed Service Providers (MSP) to secure portals and job flows.





Required Skills & Qualifications

Skill Category Requirements Experience3-7 years in US Staffing Sales/Business Development (specifically Non-IT).

CommunicationExceptional verbal and written English; ability to handle US accents and cultural nuances.

ToolsProficiency in LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Hunter.io, and CRM tools (Salesforce, Bullhorn, etc.).

Shift TimingMust be comfortable working in Night Shifts (EST/CST/PST) to align with US business hours. Sales AcumenStrong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills. Typical Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Current Client Wins: Number of new Master Service Agreements (MSAs) signed per quarter.
- Revenue Targets: Achieving specific gross profit or spread targets.
- Job Order Flow: Number of qualified job orders brought in from direct clients.
- Account Growth: Increasing the headcount or "wallet share" within existing accounts.
