CNC Supervisor
Department: Production
Location: jamshedpur
Reporting To: Production Manager
Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day CNC machining operations (turning, milling, VMC/HMC).
- Plan and allocate work to operators to meet production schedules.
- Monitor machine performance, productivity, and downtime.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
- Coordinate with the quality team for inspections and corrective actions.
- Optimize machining processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Ensure proper tool management and machine maintenance.
- Train and guide CNC operators and helpers.
- Maintain production reports, shift logs, and documentation.
- Enforce safety standards and company policies on the shop floor.

Required Qualifications
- Diploma / ITI / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 3-7 years of experience in CNC machining, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.

Technical Skills
- Knowledge of CNC programming (Fanuc/Siemens controllers preferred).
- Experience with VMC, HMC, CNC Lathe operations.




- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.;
- Understanding of cutting tools, feeds, speeds, and tooling selection.
- Familiarity with quality inspection tools (vernier, micrometer, gauges).
