We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Proofreader to ensure accuracy and consistency in our academic books before final printing.

Key Responsibilities:
- Proofread textbooks and academic content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting errors
- Ensure consistency in language, style, and terminology
- Cross-check facts, figures, and data with original manuscripts
- Review page layouts and typeset proofs for errors
- Mark corrections clearly and coordinate with editors and DTP team
- Ensure adherence to style guides and publishing standards
- Perform multiple rounds of proofreading before final print

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in English, Humanities, or related field)




- 1-3 years of experience in proofreading (academic/publishing preferred)
- Excellent command over English grammar and language
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work within deadlines
- Familiarity with proofreading marks and style guides
- Basic understanding of DTP/layout processes

Job Types: Full time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹9,986.26 - ₹35,163.66 per month
