Position Overview:
We're seeking a creative and efficient Video Editor to join RentenPe, India's leading rent credit score platform. You'll produce engaging short-form videos, reels, and promotional content for social media, app campaigns, and marketing initiatives in the fintech space. This full-time role requires strong storytelling skills and proficiency in editing tools to support our growth in a rapid-paced startup workplace.

Key Responsibilities
- Edit high-quality videos including social media reels, promotional ads, explainer videos, and app walkthroughs (15-60 seconds).
- Collaborate with marketing and content teams to align videos with brand voice, fintech themes, and campaign goals.
- Handle motion graphics, text overlays, transitions, and effects using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and CapCut.
- Optimise videos for platforms like Instagram, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and app stores (vertical formats, captions).
- Manage end-to-end workflow: ingest footage, colour grade, sound design, and export in multiple formats.




- Stay updated on trends in short-form video and fintech marketing to innovate content styles.

Required Skills & Experience
- 2-4 years of hands-on video editing experience, preferably in digital marketing, social media, or fintech/startups.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop); bonus for DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro.
- Strongportfolio showcasing short-form content (reels, ads) with 1M+ views preferred.
- Understanding of ASO (App Store Optimization) video requirements and music licensing (e.g., Epidemic Sound).
- Excellent time management, ability to deliver 10-15 videos/week under tight deadlines.
- Bonus: Fintech knowledge, Hindi/English voiceover syncing, basic animation skills.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Multimedia, Film, Design, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Familiarity with Mumbai's creative ecosystem a plus.
