Job Summary

The Sales/Distribution Executive is responsible for driving sales of fertilizer products through dealer and distributor networks while building strong relationships with farmers and agri-influencers. The role focuses on increasing market penetration, ensuring product availability, and promoting the effective use of fertilizers.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Target Achievement
- Achieve monthly and seasonal sales targets
- Drive primary (company to distributor) and secondary (dealer to farmer) sales
- Promote key fertilizer products (urea, DAP, NPK, specialty fertilizers)

Distribution Management
- Appoint and manage distributors, dealers, and retailers
- Ensure product availability across assigned territory
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely replenishment

Farmer Engagement & Field Activities
- Conduct farmer meetings, field demonstrations, and crop seminars
- Educate farmers on product usage, dosage, and benefits
- Build relationships with farmers, agri-retailers, and influencers

Market Development
- Identify recent markets and expand rural coverage




- Increase penetration in villages and agri clusters
- Monitor competitor products, pricing, and schemes

Promotions & Campaigns
- Execute promotional activities and seasonal campaigns
- Distribute marketing materials (leaflets, banners, demo kits)
- Support product launches and awareness drives

Order & Logistics Coordination
- Collect orders and coordinate with supply chain for delivery
- Ensure timely dispatch and minimize stock-outs
- Track sales and inventory movement

Reporting & Feedback
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales reports
- Provide crop-wise and region-wise market insights
- Report field challenges and customer feedback

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture (B.Sc. Agri) preferred
- Graduation in any discipline with relevant experience also considered
- 1-3 years of experience in fertilizer / agrochemical / seeds sales
