Role Overview
- The Academic Coordinator is responsible for ensuring effective implementation of the Cambridge curriculum, maintaining high teaching standards, and supporting academic excellence across the school. The role focuses on curriculum delivery, teacher mentoring, assessment quality, and Cambridge compliance.
- Key Responsibilities_
- Implement and monitor IGCSE curriculum as per Cambridge International standards.
- Support teachers with lesson planning, schemes of work, assessment, and differentiation.
- Conduct classroom observations, provide feedback, and mentor teachers.
- Coordinate internal assessments and IGCSE examinations with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Track student progress and support academic interventions.
- Ensure Cambridge compliance, documentation, and inspection readiness.
- Support academic communication with parents and stakeholders.

- Robust understanding of IGCSE curriculum and assessment practices.




- Effective mentoring, academic planning, and monitoring skills.

- Qualifications & Experience_
- Master’s Degree in Education / Subject specialization (B.Ed / M.Ed preferred)
- 4-10 years of teaching experience, with 2-3 years in an academic leadership role
- Prior experience in an IGCSE / Cambridge School is mandatory
- Academically strong, student-focused, and team-oriented
- Confident mentor with high academic standards
- Experienced in international curriculum delivery
