A TGT History teacher is responsible for teaching History to senior secondary students (usually Grade 9 to 10). The role involves delivering in-depth knowledge of historical events, concepts, and interpretations while preparing students for board examinations and higher studies.

Key Responsibilities:
Teach History as per the prescribed curriculum (CBSE/ICSE/State Board)

Deliver detailed lessons on ancient, medieval, and modern history

Prepare lesson plans, study materials, and presentations

Develop students’ analytical and critical thinking skills

Conduct regular tests, assignments, and assessments

Prepare students for board exams with proper guidance and revision strategies

Evaluate answer sheets and provide constructive feedback

Encourage research-based learning, discussions, and debates





Maintain discipline and a positive classroom environment

Participate in school activities, seminars, and educational trips

Communicate with parents regarding students’ progress

Eligibility Criteria:
Postgraduate degree (M.A.) in History

B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory

CTET/TET or other relevant teaching qualification (as required)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
