- Monitor parameters like:
- pH level
- Flow rate
- Pressure drop
- Temperature
- Ensure proper neutralization of harmful gases.
Monitoring & Control
- Regularly check emissions and ensure compliance with pollution standards.
- Maintain logbook of readings (hourly/daily).
- Identify abnormal conditions and take corrective actions.
Maintenance
- Perform routine cleaning and minor maintenance of scrubber equipment.
- Check pumps, pipelines, nozzles, and packing materials.
- Inform maintenance team for major breakdowns.
Chemical Handling
- Prepare and maintain chemical solutions (e.g., caustic, acid).
- Ensure proper dosing as per process requirement.
- Follow protected chemical handling procedures.
