Varun Beverages Ltd. seeks an Executive-Quality to lead our Quality Control department, ensuring our beverages meet the highest standards. This role is pivotal in maintaining our brand's reputation for quality and safety.
The Executive-Quality will be responsible for overseeing and managing the quality control processes across our beverage production lines. They will work closely with production teams to implement and maintain quality standards, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and our company's quality policies. This role requires a solid understanding of beverage production processes and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Monitor beverage production lines and filling activities, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Perform routine checks for Brix, pH, acidity, CO₂ levels, and sensory parameters like taste and appearance.
- Conduct chemical analysis of raw materials, syrups, and treated water to ensure quality and safety.
- Monitor and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Hygiene Practices (GHP), and food safety protocols.




- Verify the hygiene and cleanliness of operators, equipment, and the production environment.
- Maintain accurate quality records, logs, and checklists, both online and offline.
- Report any deviations or non-conformances immediately and initiate corrective actions.
- Support traceability and maintain batch records for quality control and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to resolve quality issues promptly.
- Assist the QA team during internal and external audits, ensuring a smooth and successful process.
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a quality control role, preferably in the beverage industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, including FSSAI, HACCP, FSSC 22000, and ISO standards.
- Proficiency in conducting chemical and sensory analyses, with a focus on beverage quality.
