Job Title: Assistant Buyer

Reporting To: Category Manager

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Buyer / Category Manager in product sourcing and vendor management.
- Coordinate with vendors for product samples, quotations, and product specifications.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trending products.
- Support in price negotiation, margin analysis, and commercial discussions with vendors.
- Maintain product database, pricing sheets, and vendor records.
- Coordinate with inventory, warehouse, and operations teams to ensure product availability.
- Work closely with marketing and content teams for product promotions and launches.
- Track sales performance and stock movement to support buying decisions.
- Follow up with vendors for timely Stock GRN and receipt of product samples.:




- Ensure timely GRN of stock to maintain seamless inventory availability for sales.:
- Handle backend operations such as creating required documentation in the system for onboarding new products and preparing deal notes for vendors.

Required Skills:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and coordination skills.
- Team player and quick learner.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail or e-commerce environment.

Qualification
- Graducate or MBA (Marketing & Operations).

Experience
- 1-3 years of experience in buying, merchandising, procurement, or category management.
- Experience in retail, e-commerce, or TV shopping industry will be preferred.

Compensation & Other Details
- CTC: ₹3.5 - ₹4.8 LPA (based on experience)
- Bond: Mandatory 1.6 years bond from the date of joining:
