Job Summary
The SAS AML Data Analyst will be responsible for planning, preparing, executing, and documenting testing activities for the migration of the SAS Anti-Money Laundering (AML) platform from SAS AML 7.1 to SAS Viya 4. The role will ensure that all migrated functionality, AML scenarios, business rules, and system integrations operate as expected and meet business and regulatory requirements. The tester will work closely with business users, the implementation partner, and technical teams to validate that the migrated solution performs correctly and that newly configured scenarios in SAS Viya produce the expected results.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases,



and test scripts for the SAS AML migration project.
• Perform functional, system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) support for the migrated SAS AML solution.
• Validate that all migrated AML scenarios, detection rules, workflows, and configurations function as expected in SAS Viya 4.
• Verify that newly configured AML scenarios produce the expected alerts, outputs, and case generation results.
• Compare results between SAS AML 7.1 and SAS Viya 4 to ensure functional equivalence where applicable.
• Execute end-to-end testing of AML processes, including data ingestion, scenario execution, alert generation, case creation, and reporting.
• Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution, working closely with technical teams and the implementation partner.
• Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure migration accuracy and data integrity.
