Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 3D models using AutoCAD Plant 3D:
- Create piping layouts, isometric drawings, and orthographic drawings:
- Generate P&IDs; (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams):
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications:
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other designers
- Perform clash detection and resolve design conflicts
- Prepare bill of materials (BOM) and reports
- Update drawings based on client feedback and site changes
- Maintain proper documentation and drawing revisions
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 2-5 years of experience in plant design or piping design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Plant 3D and AutoCAD:
- Solid understanding of:
- Piping design and layouts
- P&IDs;
- Equipment modeling
- Knowledge of industry standards (ASME, ANSI, ISO, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
