Job Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Sample Development Executive to oversee the end-to-end journey of new jewelry designs. You will be responsible for transforming design concepts into physical samples, ensuring technical accuracy, and managing the follow-up process with artisans (Karigars) and production teams to meet strict export deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
- Sampling Lifecycle Management: Manage the transition of designs from CAD/Sketch to Master Model and final sample.
- Vendor & Karigar Coordination: Daily follow-up with manual artisans, wax setters, casting departments, and polishers to ensure samples are moving through the pipeline.
- Material Coordination: Sourcing and issuing specific gemstones, metals, and findings required for the development of new collections.
- Quality Control (QC): Inspecting samples at various stages to ensure they match the original design specifications and weight requirements.
- Timeline Tracking: Maintaining a "Sample Tracker" (Excel/ERP)



to provide real-time updates to the Merchandising or Sales teams regarding sample status.
- Costing Assistance: Recording actual metal weights and stone counts to help the accounts team calculate accurate product costing.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 2-5 years in jewelry sampling or production (Experience in the Jaipur gemstone market is a plus).
- Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of jewelry manufacturing processes (Casting, Filing, Setting, and Plating).
- Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (essential for tracking) and familiarity with ERP software.
- Communication: Solid verbal communication skills in Hindi (for Karigar interaction) and functional English (for reporting).
- Education: Graduate in any stream;
