Role: Stores Engineer Role Definition

Stores Engineer is responsible for managing store operations, inventory control, ERP data maintenance, finished goods handling, packaging, dispatch coordination, and logistics support to ensure smooth material flow and timely shipment execution.

Responsibilities & Deliverables
- Accurate ERP data management (SAP).
- Timely GRN processing and material inward control.
- Effective coordination with Manufacturing & Customer Support Team.
- Logistics coordination for Export / Import shipments.
- Proper packaging and dispatch readiness.
- Finished goods inventory monitoring.
- Daily store management and stock control.
- Periodic physical stock audit and reconciliation.

Tasks & Activities Data Management - ERP (SAP)
- Maintain complete inward and outward entries in ERP.
- Ensure real-time stock updates.
- Support billing data tracking on weekly and monthly basis.
- Maintain documentation records.

Material Receipt & GRN
- Physically verify received material quantity.
- Coordinate with QC for inspection clearance.




- Book GRN in ERP within defined timeline.
- Ensure proper storage and identification of material.

Coordination with Manufacturing & CST
- Coordinate material readiness for production and dispatch.
- Raise Production Order based on MSQ trigger.
- Support installation and commissioning material requirements.
- Ensure timely availability of finished goods.

Logistics Management (Export / Import Shipments)
- Follow up with Freight Forwarder / Courier / CHA.
- Prepare Delivery Challan (DC).
- Prepare required import/export documentation.
- Track shipments and ensure timely clearance.
- Coordinate payments related to logistics services (as per process).

Material Packaging
- Ensure proper packing as per order requirement.
- Maintain sufficient stock of packing materials.
- Ensure correct labeling and protected handling.
- Prevent transit damage.

Finished Goods Management
- Monitor finished goods stock levels.
- Ensure availability
