Sales Associate Responsibilities and Duties

The Sales Associate will report to the Store Manager and will be responsible for the following day-to-day activities:
- Greet walk-in customers promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive first impression
- Understand customer requirements by listening carefully and asking relevant questions
- Recommend appropriate products based on customer needs related to cooking, health, or wellness
- Explain product features, advantages, and usage clearly, using approved brand communication and storytelling
- Conduct sensory demonstrations (aroma testing) using designated tester bottles
- Support the Store Manager during billing, packing, or high-volume customer interactions when required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing product display area (alignment and light dusting only)
- Assist in maintaining high standards of hygiene, grooming, and in-store discipline
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to customer handling, product demonstration, and store conduct




- Use company-provided product literature and training materials to stay updated on product knowledge
- Build rapport with customers to encourage repeat visits and long-term trust

Sales Associate Qualifications and Skills
- Basic understanding of customer service and retail sales principles

Educational Qualifications
- Minimum qualification: High school diploma
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.

Experience
- Prior experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred
- Experience in food, wellness, organic, or specialty retail will be an advantage
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to explain products clearly and confidently to customers
- Customer-oriented mindset with attention to detail
- Willingness to learn about health, wellness, and cold-pressed products
- Ability to follow SOPs and work under supervision

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
