Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Academic Duties
- Plan and deliver well-structured, student-centered lessons
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, and digital content
- Conduct regular assessments, tests, and examinations
- Evaluate answer scripts and provide constructive feedback

Curriculum & Assessment
- Follow CBSE/ISC/State Board curriculum guidelines
- Develop question papers, worksheets, and assignments
- Maintain academic records, attendance, and progress reports
- Participate in curriculum planning and academic reviews

Student Development
- Mentor and guide students academically and professionally
- Identify learning gaps and provide remedial support
- Encourage analytical thinking, financial literacy, and business awareness
- Support students in projects, presentations, and commerce-related activities

School Responsibilities
- Participate in staff meetings, training programs,



and workshops
- Assist in school events, examinations, and co-curricular activities
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress
- Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment

Educational Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Commerce (M.Com) or related field
- B.Ed. (mandatory for most boards)
- NET/SET qualification (preferred, if applicable)

Experience
- Minimum 2-5 years of teaching experience at senior secondary level (preferred)

Skills & Competencies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in up-to-date teaching methods and educational technology
- Classroom management and student engagement skills
- Analytical and organizational abilities

Experience
- 1-3 years of teaching experience preferred
