About the Role
Key Responsibilities
As an IT Solution Architect, you will:
1. Infrastructure Design & Strategy
- Design, develop, and implement scalable and secure IT Infrastructure solutions (on-prem and cloud).
- Define technical requirements and ensure they align with the objectives of the PLM Teamcenter Migration project.
- Collaborate with providers to leverage cloud platforms and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
2. Project Collaboration
- Support the PLM project team with infrastructure-related decisions, ensuring timely delivery and optimal performance.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams to align business needs with technical solutions.
3. Cloud & Vendor Management
- Manage cloud platforms and services within Siemens guidelines, ensuring high availability and compliance.
- Oversee provider/vendor contracts, ensuring service quality and cost-effectiveness.
4. Cybersecurity
- Incorporate cybersecurity best practices into infrastructure designs.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with Siemens cybersecurity requirements.
5. Continuous Improvement
- Periodically review and optimize infrastructure to ensure it meets current and future business requirements.
- Identify and drive automation opportunities within infrastructure and cloud environments.
6. Support & Maintenance
- Provide technical guidance during incident resolution and troubleshooting for infrastructure-related issues.
- Document infrastructure solutions and ensure knowledge is shared across relevant teams.
