Job Description -IT - Office Systems & Servers

Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Systems Administration
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Server Management
- Administer physical and virtual servers (Windows/Mac OS).
- Perform backups, disaster recovery planning, and patch management.
- Ensure server uptime, scalability, and security.
- Network Support
- Maintain LAN/WAN, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Monitor network traffic and resolve connectivity issues.
- Implement network security protocols.
- Technical Support
- Provide Tier 1-3 support for staff (hardware/software troubleshooting).
- Document solutions and create user guides.
- Train employees on IT best practices.
- Security & Compliance
- Implement cybersecurity measures (antivirus, intrusion detection, encryption).
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and data protection laws.
- Conduct regular audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Project & Process Improvement
- Support IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and integrations.




- Evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with vendors for procurement and support.

Job Requirements

Degree(s) &Certificate;(s)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS).
- Experience with server administration, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Experience

Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in end to end in IT sector

Major Skills
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Exchange & Google One
- Familiarity with ITIL practices and ticketing systems.
- Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks.
