Job Title: School Principal

Location: Oakwood International School, Bengaluru

Reports To: School Board or District Superintendent

Job Purpose: The principal is responsible for providing leadership and management of the school, ensuring the provision of high-quality education, fostering a safe and positive learning environment, and managing all administrative aspects of the school.

Key Responsibilities:
- Educational Leadership:
- Develop and implement educational goals and objectives in line with school policies and regulations.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement in teaching and learning practices.
- Support and evaluate teaching staff to maintain high standards of instruction.
- Administrative Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the school, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with educational laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
- Manage school facilities and ensure a safe and conducive learning environment.
- Community and Stakeholder Engagement:




- Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, community members, and local authorities.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders about school programs, policies, and achievements.
- Promote the school's reputation and positive image within the community.
- Student Welfare and Discipline:
- Implement and enforce school policies related to student behavior and discipline.
- Monitor student progress and academic performance, and intervene when necessary to support student success.
- Career development:
- Foster a professional learning community among staff, supporting their professional growth and development.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay informed about educational trends and best practices.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's degree in Education Administration or related field (required).
- State Principal Certification (required).
- Proven experience as a school administrator or educational lea
