Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Fashion Designer & Merchandiser with at least 4 years of hands-on experience in apparel design and merchandising. The role requires balancing creativity with commercial understanding to design collections aligned with market trends, manage product development, and coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely and profitable deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

Fashion Design
- Design seasonal collections in line with brand identity, market trends, and customer preferences
- Create sketches, tech packs, color stories, mood boards, and fabric selections
- Work closely with sampling teams to ensure design accuracy and quality
- Research trends, fabrics, silhouettes, and trims for new developments

Merchandising
- Plan and manage product lines from concept to final production
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers for sampling and bulk production
- Negotiate costs, timelines, and MOQs to meet margin targets
- Track order status,



follow up on approvals, and ensure on-time deliveries
- Monitor sales performance and suggest design or assortment improvements

Coordination & Quality
- Liaise with production, quality, and sourcing teams to maintain standards
- Ensure fit, fabric quality, and finishing meet brand expectations
- Handle buyer communications, if required, for design and order updates

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or relevant field
- Minimum 4 years of experience in fashion design and merchandising
- Solid knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and production processes
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, or similar tools
- Good understanding of costing, sourcing, and vendor management

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
