Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in Physics for Grades 6-8 in alignment with the school curriculum/board guidelines.
- Create interactive, student-centered learning experiences through experiments, demonstrations, and technology integration.
- Assess, evaluate, and record students’ progress through tests, projects, and classroom participation.
- Provide individual support and guidance to students to enhance their academic performance.
- Foster scientific curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Maintain discipline in the classroom and ensure a safe, respectful learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary projects and contribute to school events and activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and concerns.
Qualifications and Skills
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in Physics / Science (with specialization in Physics) from a recognized university.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) is compulsory
- Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience at middle school level (Grades 6-8).
- Solid knowledge of child development and age-appropriate teaching practices.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in using digital tools, smart boards, and online learning platforms.
