Job Title: Electrician

Location: NMDC Steel Plant, Nagarnar, Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh (CG)

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment used in steel plant operations
- Preventive and breakdown maintenance of motors, panels, MCCs, PCCs, transformers, and switchgear
- Troubleshooting electrical faults in production and auxiliary units
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Maintenance of HT/LT systems, VFDs, PLC panels, and instrumentation (basic level)
- Ensuring compliance with electrical safety standards and plant safety procedures
- Coordination with mechanical and production teams during shutdowns and emergencies
- Maintaining maintenance records,



logbooks, and reporting daily activities

Qualification Requirements
- ITI (Electrician Trade) OR
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering (EE)

Experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in steel industries or heavy industrial plants:
- Experience in steel plants, power plants, rolling mills, or process industries will be preferred

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
