Travel Consultant - GDS Specialist (Amadeus / Galileo)Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end flight reservations, ticket issuance, reissues, cancellations, refunds, exchanges, and fare recalculations using Amadeus and Galileo.:
- Build complex multi-sector domestic and international itineraries efficiently within GDS.
- Interpret fare rules, baggage policies, change penalties, and ticketing restrictions accurately.
- Research destinations, routes, airline pricing, visa requirements, seasonality, and operational constraints.
- Diagnose client requirements and recommend cost-effective and time-effective travel solutions.
- Coordinate complete travel arrangements including flights, hotels, transfers, and special services.
- Manage airline schedule changes, involuntary rerouting, ticket discrepancies, and airline escalations.
- Maintain accurate client records, booking documentation, and financial reconciliation.
- Upsell ancillaries, preferred airlines, and premium products to maximize revenue.
- Handle customer complaints, disruptions,



and urgent operational issues professionally.
- Maintain relationships with airline partners, consolidators, and suppliers.
- Track productivity, ticket volumes, error rates, and revenue performance.

Mandatory Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
- Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on operational experience on Amadeus and/or Galileo.:
- Ability to independently perform ticketing, reissues, refunds, voids, fare construction, and rule interpretation in GDS.:
- Strong understanding of airline fare rules, BSP processes, PNR management, queues, and ticketing workflows.
- Proven experience handling domestic and international bookings with accuracy and speed.
- High operational discipline with mínimal error tolerance.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
- Strong customer service orientation with commercial mindset.

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)
- Certification on Amadeus / Galileo.
- Exposure to corporate travel management
