Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct training on organic farming principles and practices.
- Teach preparation and use of:
- Organic manure (FYM, compost, vermicompost)
- Bio-fertilizers and bio-pesticides
- Train on soil health management and crop nutrition.
- Demonstrate natural pest and disease management techniques.
Guide farmers on:
- Seed selection and treatment.
- Crop planning and rotation.
- Intercropping and mixed cropping.
- Conduct field demonstrations and practical sessions.
- Support farmers in transitioning from chemical to organic
farming.
- Assist in yield improvement and cost reduction strategies.
- Coordinate with field staff and project teams.
Horticulture.
- Minimum 1-3 years of practical experience in organic farming.
- Knowledge of local crops and farming practices is an
advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong practical knowledge of organic agriculture.
