Chief Operating Officer (COO) – Consumer FinTech | Bengaluru
We are partnering with a high-growth, profitable Consumer FinTech company operating in the U.S. market to hire a Chief Operating Officer (COO).
This is a high-impact, operations-first leadership mandate, working directly with the CEO and Executive Leadership Team to build and scale a technology-led operating engine for the company's next phase of growth.
Key Responsibilities
Own and scale Core Operations, Banking Operations, Payments, Credit Operations, Compliance Operations, KYC, Fraud & Risk Operations, Process Excellence and Customer Success.
Build scalable operating models supporting rapid growth across customers, products, transactions and revenue.
Drive automation and build an AI-first operating model across key operational processes.
Establish strong operational controls, SLAs, governance, quality standards and performance metrics.
Improve productivity, turnaround time, cost-to-serve, operational reliability and customer outcomes.
Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Data, Finance, Compliance and Risk teams.




Manage and develop senior operational leaders across multiple functions.
Drive operational readiness for new products, partnerships and customer segments.
Contribute to unit economics, commercial outcomes and progressively take on broader business/P&L; ownership.
The original mandate specifically emphasizes AI-led automation and technology-enabled operations across payments, credit, KYC, compliance, reconciliations, risk and customer servicing.
Ideal Profile
18+ years of experience with significant senior operational leadership exposure.
Solid career foundation in Operations / Business Operations / Banking Operations / Payments / Credit / Risk / Compliance / Process Excellence.
Leadership experience in a high-growth FinTech, digital-first bank, technology-led financial services or consumer technology company.
Proven experience scaling complex, technology-enabled operations.
