Adaptive Solutions (formerly Custom Engineering) is an extended arm of Chargebee's Shared Services team operating on a philosophy of "product-thinking in services." The team builds bespoke, high-value engineering solutions tailored to the unique business needs of Chargebee's most strategic enterprise customers — delivering capabilities the core product does not offer out of the box.
We are a high-performing group of Business Analysts, Engineering Managers, Software Engineers, and QA Engineers who increase platform adoption and stickiness by making Chargebee deeply embedded in how our customers run their businesses. ROLE OVERVIEW




We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead and grow the engineering function within Adaptive Solutions. You will own the delivery of complex, customer-specific software solutions, manage a team of engineers and QA, and work closely with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, and Customer Success to bring bespoke integrations to life.
This is a uniquely demanding role at the intersection of software engineering, qualified services, and enterprise customer success. You will have to be as comfortable discussing API design with a customer's CTO as you are reviewing a CI/CD pipeline or coaching a junior engineer through a tricky integration.
