Job Title: Head of Quality

Key Responsibilities

Quality Management & Leadership

Develop and implement the overall quality strategy and systems aligned with the company’s business and production objectives.
Lead the Quality team across supplier, development, and manufacturing functions.
Build a strong culture of continuous improvement, problem-solving, and proactive defect prevention across all departments.

Manufacturing & Supply Quality

Define and enforce quality standards for incoming materials, in-process inspection, and finished electronics goods.
Lead implementation of quality management systems (IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001).
Drive process capability improvement and lead PFMEA, control plan, and process validation activities.
Establish supplier quality programs, including audits and corrective action management.

Product Development Quality

Collaborate closely with engineering teams during new product development (NPD)



to ensure design-for-quality and compliance with APQP processes.
Manage quality gates throughout the product life cycle: prototype, validation, and SOP stages.
Lead DVP&R; tracking and ensure customer quality requirements are translated into design controls.
Oversee PPAP documentation and approvals for OEM customers.

Customer and Compliance Management

Act as the primary quality representative for all customer and internal audits.
Maintain excellent communication with OEM customers on quality performance and improvement plans.
Implement traceability systems, warranty analysis, RCA, and 8D problem-solving frameworks.

Desired Candidate Profile

B.E/B.Tech or higher in Electronics, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering.
10–15 years of experience in quality management within Automotive Electronics or Tier-1 manufacturing.
Proven record in managing both production and development quality teams.
Strong knowledge of APQP
