Schedule: Full-time, with regular availability during Eastern Time business hours

Compensation: C$28,800–C$33,600 annually, based on experience and qualifications

The Prospect

Thornwell Media is a growing media and marketing company supporting multiple brands across different markets.

We are looking for a Group Social Media & Content Manager who can build distinct brand identities, grow audiences organically and personally create engaging content using traditional and AI-assisted production methods.

Candidates must understand the algorithms and content-discovery systems used by Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube and X. You must also understand content SEO, search intent and how to improve visibility across Google, social search and AI-assisted search.

Previous experience managing social media for a technology, technology-enabled or service-based company is required. Experience working across both technology and service-based brands is strongly preferred.

Advanced AI-content production is another core requirement.



We are not looking for someone whose AI experience is limited to writing captions with ChatGPT.

This is a senior, hands-on position. You will initially create the strategies, systems and content personally. As requirements grow, you will hire and manage additional creators, editors and designers.

Key Responsibilities

Create separate social-media and content strategies for each brand.
Manage content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube and X.
Adapt content to the audiences, formats and algorithms of different platforms.
Develop organic-growth strategies using performance data and audience behaviour.
Create engaging content for technology and service-based brands.
Turn technical products, services and ideas into understandable content.
Research search demand and create content designed to attract qualified organic traffic.
Optimize website and social content for Google, platform search and AI-assisted discovery.
