As an Application Engineer specializing in Battery Management System (BMS) for Electric Vehicle applications, you will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration and optimal performance of our BMS solutions. You will leverage your expertise in EV electronics, embedded systems, and communication protocols to support the development and deployment of cutting-edge BMS solutions. You'll bridge the gap between our R&D; team and customers, ensuring a smooth and successful experience.

Requirements

Here's what you'll do:

Become a subject matter expert on Maxwell's BMS solutions and the broader EV battery ecosystem
Work closely with customers throughout the integration journey, from initial onboarding to troubleshooting, and guarantee successful BMS adoption in their EV applications
Utilize your expertise in embedded system engineering and digital/analog electronics to design, develop, and optimize Battery Management System (BMS) solutions for automotive EV applications




Demonstrate hands-on experience in communication protocols such as CAN, J1939, SPI, and proficiency in Embedded C and JSON to implement robust BMS functionalities
Engage in requirement elicitation and technical negotiation to understand customer needs and translate them into actionable design specifications for BMS solutions
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including R&D;, engineering, and product management teams, to ensure alignment with project objectives and timelines
Foster effective communication and analytical skills to troubleshoot issues, conduct root cause analysis, and provide timely resolutions for BMS-related challenges
Stay updated with industry standards and regulations, including ISO26262, UL standards, and AIS, to ensure compliance and adherence to quality benchmarks
Act as a technical advisor and support external stakeholders, including customers and suppliers, by providing technical guidance and resolving inquiries related t
