Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Automation and Manual QA Engineer with 5–8 years of hands-on experience in frontend (UI) and API testing. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing, along with experience validating REST APIs using tools like Postman. The candidate will work closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze business and functional requirements to create effective test scenarios and test cases.
Perform manual testing of web applications across different browsers and devices.
Validate UI functionality, responsiveness, usability, and cross-browser compatibility.
Perform comprehensive REST API testing using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.
Validate API request/response payloads, status codes, authentication, and error handling.
Execute functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Identify, log, track, and verify defects using Jira or similar defect management tools.




Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.
Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives in Agile environments.
Prepare test plans, test cases, execution reports, and test summary reports.
Ensure traceability between requirements and test cases.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of quality releases.
Support UAT activities and production verification after deployments.
Required Skills
5–8 years of experience in Manual Software Testing.
Strong experience in Frontend/UI testing for web applications.
Hands-on experience in REST API testing using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.
Good understanding of HTTP methods, status codes, request/response validation, JSON, and API authentication mechanisms.
Experience with functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing.
