About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Coastal Engineer to join our growing team in Denmark. You will work on a variety of coastal, offshore, and flood protection projects, supporting clients from both the public and private sectors. The role involves coastal design, hydrodynamic analysis, project planning, and technical documentation.
8+ years of relevant experience in Coastal and/or Offshore Engineering. Strong understanding of coastal protection and hydrodynamic processes. Experience delivering technical studies, calculations, and design reports.

Responsibilities

Perform hydrodynamic calculations and coastal engineering design.
Conduct MetOcean studies and coastal assessments.
Prepare technical documentation and design reports.
Support project planning, execution, and quality assurance activities.
Develop and improve calculation and planning tools within the department.




Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on local and international projects.
Must have delivered Danish Projects.

Qualifications

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. Strong programming skills in Python. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Experience preparing technical reports and project documentation.

Required Skills

Experience with one or more of the following tools:

MIKE 21, Telemac, Delft3D, or similar hydrodynamic modelling software
Scalgo HEC-RAS or similar rainfall-runoff modelling software
Bentley MicroStation
Autodesk AutoCAD

Preferred Skills

Numerical modelling of waves, hydrodynamics, and sediment transport
Flood simulations and sediment spill modelling
CFD modelling
Offshore wind and due diligence studies
Sea ice assessments
Design of seawalls, sluices, and pumping systems
