We are looking for a Business Development Executive to join our Mumbai team and support the growth of our international commodity trading business.
- The role will focus on lead generation, market research, prospect development, CRM management and business development support, with close coordination with the commercial team.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop current business opportunities and prospective customers across domestic and international markets.
- Conduct systematic lead generation through LinkedIn, industry databases, trade directories, market intelligence and other sources.
- Research and identify potential buyers, sellers, distributors and trading partners.
- Build and maintain a structured database of prospects and key decision-makers.
- Manage and regularly update the company's CRM, ensuring accurate records of leads, contacts, enquiries, follow-ups and opportunities.




- Track leads through the sales funnel and ensure timely follow-up and conversion of prospects into business opportunities.
- Conduct market research to identify new products, customers, suppliers and emerging market opportunities.
- Support the sales team with customer profiling, market intelligence and lead qualification.
- Initiate contact with prospective customers through email, LinkedIn, telephone and other business channels.
- Maintain regular follow-up with prospects and ensure that all business enquiries are properly recorded and monitored.
- Prepare periodic lead-generation, pipeline and CRM reports for management.
- Coordinate with the commercial and operations teams to ensure smooth handling of qualified enquiries.

Candidate Profile
- Graduate / Postgraduate with 2–5 years of experience in Business Development, Lead Generation, Inside Sales or Market Research.
- Experience with an international trading company, commodity trading house, export-import compan
