? We’re Hiring: Senior Doors & Hardware (DH) Estimator We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Doors & Hardware Estimator to join our growing team.

Responsibilities
Review architectural drawings, specifications, elevations, schedules, details, and project addenda to understand project scope and estimating requirements.
Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for glazing, doors, frames, and architectural hardware using construction drawings and digital estimating tools.
Estimate storefront, curtain wall, window wall, aluminum entrances, windows, glass partitions, mirrors, and specialty glazing systems.
Prepare takeoffs and estimates for hollow metal, aluminum, wood, glass, and specialty doors, including frames and related accessories.
Review and quantify door hardware and other accessories.
Prepare detailed BOQs, material summaries, scope sheets, and cost estimates based on project drawings and specifications.
Obtain and evaluate material, supplier, subcontractor, and vendor quotations to establish competitive project pricing.




Analyze specifications and hardware schedules to identify required products, finishes, ratings, and performance requirements.
Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain pricing, product information, lead times, and technical clarification.
Identify scope gaps, discrepancies, exclusions, and potential conflicts between drawings, specifications, schedules, and details.
Prepare and submit RFIs for missing, unclear, or conflicting project information.
Review addenda, revisions, and change orders and update estimates and takeoffs accordingly.
Develop detailed labor and material pricing, including equipment, freight, wastage, subcontractor costs, and other project-related expenses.
Prepare bid proposals, bid tabs, comparison sheets, and detailed estimate summaries for management review.
Maintain accurate estimating databases for material costs, labor rates, vendor pricing, and historical project data.
