Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the hotel's pre-opening sales and marketing strategy in alignment with ownership and brand objectives
Conduct market analysis, competitive positioning, and segmentation to inform the commercial business plan
Drive pre-opening business development across corporate, group, and leisure segments to establish base business
Oversee development and execution of the pre-opening marketing plan, including brand launch, public relations, and digital presence
Recruit,



hire, and develop the sales, catering, and marketing team
Prepare and manage the sales and marketing budget in support of overall revenue objectives
Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and client engagements
Collaborate with the General Manager and pre-opening leadership team to ensure alignment between commercial strategy and operational readiness
Provide regular performance reporting to ownership and/or management company leadership
Qualifications
Minimum seven (7) years of progressive experience in hotel sales and marketing, including at least two (2) years in a Director of Sales, Director of Sales & Marketing, or equivalent leadership capacity
Prior experience with hotel pre-opening, conversion, or recent-market launch strongly preferred
Demonstrated success in developing sales strategy and achieving revenue targets
Working knowledge of sales and catering systems, CRM platf
