Education : B.E/B.Tech (Electronics)
Experience : 8 to 10 Years of Experience in sales of Electronics components with a leading Electronics components company.
Job Purpose :
The job involves positive understanding of the E and T brand electronic components, product part codes and its applications. It also requires an excellent understanding of the OEM accounts(Global, Local including some exclusive FER customers) with emphasis on global alignment to strategic accounts. Frequent interaction with SAOs and Key account managers to align strategies and activities. Person should periodically visit the customers places, discuss and understand the requirements of the customers and communicate it to the officer he is reporting to. Keeping track of Sales revenue against target, New bookings and the receivables is a prime duty of the person. Basic knowledge and understanding of commercial aspects such as Billing, applicable taxes and their implication. Incumbent should be a team player and must discharge his duties as per company guidelines.



Design in activities of engg design centres to get components approved for additional business opportunities shall be part of the existing profile. High level of technical competency with focus on field application knowledge is a mandatory requirement.

Key activities :
Understanding the budgetary target of Sales and the given business area (Products, Market, Customers) and prepare the Sales Plan in consultation with regional head to achieve the given target.
Executing the order, following up for the delivery and keeping communication with the customer with the support of CS.
Anticipating the demand / order with proper analysis, preparing the Sales forecast and providing it to CS.
Maintaining and continuously updating the database of Customers & their products & application, requirement, turnover and key decision makers.
Meeting OEMs & Design centres, Promoting the product by presentations, preparing quotations, pre Sales preparations.
