Role: Senior Hardware/Power Electronics Design Engineer – Hybrid Inverters & BESS (50kW) 2Nos

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hardware Design Engineer to own the detailed component-level design, schematic capture, PCB layout oversight, and physical prototyping of our next-generation 50kW Hybrid Inverter. In this role, you will transform system-level architectural specifications into robust, high-efficiency electrical hardware. You will design critical power stages, gate drivers, magnetic filters, and analog sensing circuits. Your work will directly impact the reliability, thermal efficiency, and commercial success of our Commercial & Industrial (C&I;) BESS solution.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and optimize bidirectional power topologies, including buck-boost DC-DC stages for batteries, MPPT stages for solar PV, and three-phase DC-AC inverter bridges. Knowledge on Power conversion, rectification, switching circuits, PFC, DC/DC and DC/AC inverters, EMI/EMC compliant design experience.
Select and evaluate power semiconductors,



evaluating SiC MOSFETs or IGBTs for efficiency, thermal performance, switching loss, and safe operating area (SOA).
Design and specify custom magnetic components, including high-frequency inductors, common-mode chokes, and LCL grid-filter networks.
Design isolated gate driver circuits with robust short-circuit protection (desaturation detection), Miller clamp functionality, and optimal switching speeds.
Microcontroller/Microprocessor/FPGA based designs
Develop high-precision analogue sensing paths for voltage, current, and temperature monitoring using isolated operational amplifiers, Hall-effect sensors, and delta-sigma modulators.
Positive understanding of control strategies for DC-DC converters (voltage mode, current mode, digital control, etc.) with the ability to perform detailed stability analysis via simulations and analytical methods.
