We are looking for an experienced Calypso Back Office & Accounting Specialist with 6+ years of experience to configure, develop, and support Calypso back office and accounting solutions across our capital markets technology estate. You will bring deep Calypso platform expertise combined with robust back office operations and financial accounting domain knowledge — delivering robust, accurate, and compliant settlement, reconciliation, and accounting solutions that support the organisation's capital markets trading and financial reporting objectives.
You will work closely with Back Office Operations, Finance, Risk, and Technology teams — translating complex settlement and accounting requirements into well-designed Calypso configurations and technical solutions that meet the highest standards of accuracy, auditability, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Calypso Back Office Configuration & Development
Design, configure, and maintain Calypso back office modules — settlement instructions, confirmation management, nostro reconciliation,



and workflow configuration — aligned to business and operational requirements.
Configure and maintain Calypso settlement workflows — DvP, FoP, and cash settlement processes — across fixed income, FX, derivatives, equities, and repo asset classes.
Develop and maintain Calypso SWIFT interface configurations — MT103, MT202, MT515, MT540-543 — ensuring accurate, timely settlement message generation and processing.
Configure Calypso static data — counterparty, account, product, and SSI data — ensuring accurate, current reference data supports settlement and accounting processing.
Build and maintain Calypso batch processing workflows — scheduling, dependency management, and failure handling for end-of-day and intraday back office processing cycles.
Support Calypso platform upgrades — assessing back office and accounting module impact, updating configurations, and validating functional integrity across version transitions.
