The project manager is responsible for working under the direction of the production manager and with other relevant team members to ensure full delivery and completion of a construction project, within budget, with an on-time schedule, and with a happy client. In addition to leading the project while in production, this position requires qualified, problem-solving, communication, and management skills to run all on-site activity, all project-related administrative tasks and to build the project in accordance with the drawings and scope of work (contract). In summary, the project manager is the de facto person in charge of the project in its entirety. The project manager is responsible for all project-related work, which can include, but is not limited to: planning and scheduling, assigning work, general supervision, quality assurance/quality control, budget management, and all client communication. The project manager is also responsible for the security and welfare of the clients’ property on any

jobsite or warranty property.
