Roles & Responsibilities

Primary position

Objectives

The Executive – Engineering Stores is responsible for carrying out day-to-day stores operations, including receipt, storage, preservation, issue and documentation of engineering materials, spare parts, consumables and fuel. The position supports Engineering Maintenance by ensuring timely material availability, maintaining accurate inventory records, and complying with company procedures, Quality, Health, Safety, Workplace (QHSE) and Supply Chain Security requirements.

Key responsibilities

Inventory & Store Operations

Receive, verify, unload and store engineering materials, spare parts, consumables and tools. Verify received materials against Purchase Orders, Delivery Challans and packing lists. Prepare Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) and perform ERP transactions as per established procedures. Ensure proper binning, labeling, preservation and housekeeping of all stored materials. Assist in cycle counting, perpetual inventory verification and annual stock-taking activities. Report inventory discrepancies, damaged materials and shortages to the Reporting Manager.
