Job Title: Data Analyst Location: Offshore India – Bangalore

Duration: 6 Months

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst with solid expertise in Corporate Banking, Credit Risk, Lending, Credit Approval, and Limit Management. The candidate will be responsible for business and data analysis, source-to-target mapping, data quality, reconciliation, testing, migration support, and stakeholder coordination across banking transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Business & Data Analysis

Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and data requirements from Credit Risk, Corporate Banking, Operations, and Technology stakeholders.

Perform business analysis, functional analysis, data analysis, and requirement gathering.

Analyze complex banking data to identify trends, inconsistencies, gaps, and business issues.

Data Discovery & Mapping

Analyze source systems and perform Source-to-Target Mapping (STM).

Conduct data lineage analysis and document end-to-end data flows.

Develop and maintain data mapping, lineage, and data flow documentation.





Credit & Risk Data Analysis

Analyze data related to Customers, Facilities, Limits, Collateral, Covenants, Ratings, Credit Proposals, and Credit Applications.

Work with Credit Proposal, ELCM, Credit Workflow, Loan Origination, Credit Risk, Limit Management, and Collateral Management platforms.

Understand and document business rules, transformation logic, and validation requirements.

Data Quality & Reconciliation

Perform data profiling, data quality assessments, data validation, and reconciliation.

Use advanced SQL for data analysis, validation, investigation, and root cause analysis.

Identify data discrepancies and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution.

Documentation & Business Rules

Prepare and maintain BRD, FRD, Functional Specifications, Data Mapping Documents, User Stories, and Test Scenarios.

Define business rules, validation rules, and transformation logic.
