About the Opportunity
Fortis healthcare organisation is seeking to appoint an exceptionally accomplished Senior Gastroenterologist to provide clinical and strategic leadership to its Gastroenterology & Hepatology programme in Delhi NCR.
This is a senior leadership and practice-building chance intended for a gastroenterologist who has developed a strong reputation for clinical excellence, patient care and professional standing and who can help establish the hospital as a preferred destination for complex gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, and liver care.
The organisation is particularly interested in candidates who have an established clinical practice and strong patient/referral network in Delhi NCR.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a gastroenterologist who combines:
15+ years of post-DM/DNB experience
Strong clinical and diagnostic capabilities




Established and respected clinical practice in Delhi NCR
Significant personal patient following and referral network
Experience in managing complex and high-acuity gastroenterology cases
Strong diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy experience
Excellent patient communication and professional reputation
Ability to develop a high-volume and sustainable gastroenterology practice
Leadership experience as Director, HOD, Senior Consultant or equivalent
Experience in a leading corporate hospital will be preferred.
Key Clinical Responsibilities
The incumbent will be responsible for providing comprehensive care across Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and therapeutic endoscopy, including:
Gastroenterology
Complex gastrointestinal disorders
GERD and acid-peptic disease
IBS and functional GI disorders
Inflammatory bowel disease
GI bleeding
GI infections and other complex GI conditions
Gastrointestinal oncology and pre-malignant cond
