The API Gateway Platform Engineering team ensures the reliability, availability, and performance of the organization’s Apigee Hybrid API management platform, operating and supporting the core gateway infrastructure exclusively on Linux systems. This role focuses on maintaining platform health,



executing upgrades and patches, troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues, enhancing security and observability, and implementing automation to improve operational efficiency. Engineers in this team play a critical role in sustaining a secure, scalable, and high performing API gateway foundation while collaborating with architecture and integration teams on enterprise API initiatives.
Responsibilities
Assist in the design, planning and implementation of to the API gateway platform and supporting infrastructure
Optimize gateway and supporting components for maximum availability, performance, and scalability
Respond to and support production operations in a 24/7 environment, ensuring uptime and reliability
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure level and platform level issues proactively and reactively
Administer, maintain, and operate Apigee Hybrid components across Linux based enviro
