This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Specialist, Global Infrastructure Operations based in India.
This role is responsible for supporting and strengthening enterprise middleware platforms within a global infrastructure environment.
You will provide L2 support for mission-critical applications, ensuring reliable performance, availability, and operational continuity.
The position combines hands-on middleware administration with technical escalation, troubleshooting, and infrastructure optimization.
You’ll work closely with application developers, end users, internal IT teams, and external technology partners.
The role also contributes to cloud adoption, high-availability architecture, disaster recovery, performance tuning, and platform upgrades.

Accountabilities
Install, implement, configure, and maintain enterprise middleware solutions to meet business and application requirements.
Provide L2 technical support and act as a senior escalation point for complex middleware and infrastructure issues.
Support technologies including AWS MQ, IBM MQ/MQFTE, Apache Tomcat, web services, application servers, and IBM WTX.
Perform performance tuning, capacity planning, upgrades, clustering, redundancy, and disaster recovery activities.
Troubleshoot infrastructure, middleware, connectivity, performance, and application-related issues in production environments.
Partner with end users and application development teams to support mission-critical applications and resolve technical challenges.
Establish and maintain standards, procedures, and best practices for middleware installation, maintenance, enhancement, and operational support.
